Job Description:
Process and Inspect the parts to industry and customer standards.
Develop and document NDT Techniques with a view to improving and constantly evolve.
Experience in defect identification and interpretation of test results.
Ability to work in shifts, well in with team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all Inspection area.
Responsible for continual improvement activities in workplace.
Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment.
Requirements:
- Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and/or Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI).
Diploma / Bachelor Degree in an appropriate Science / Engineering discipline.
Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document the results.
Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT technique/method.
Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks FPI/ MPI in accordance with the applicable process standard.
Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel.
Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology
Special Requirement, if any:
EN 4179 / NAS 410 Level 2 certification in at least one method, preferably FPI/MPI method.
Knowledge of NADCAP, relevant industry standards and specifications.
