1. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must have hands on experience in working in Aerospace Fabrication with materials like Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium. 
  • Design and develop all types of forming processes.
  • Optimization of sheet metal processes for hydraulic and mechanical press machine to meet product and production requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility study for new product, materials and processes.
  • Must handle external AS9100 audits independently with zero NC’s.
  • In depth knowledge of equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance and calibration.
  • Press equipment safety and operational standards.
  • Develop and implement process and quality plan meet 100% product requirements.
  • Conduct inspection and testing to validate formed parts.
  • In-depth knowledge of all forming processes along with the problem-solving technics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Innovative solution to reduce consumable cost to meet competitive world.
  • Training to New press operators on operation, programming and latest innovation in technology. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the sequence of operations given in the Process sheets/route card are followed. 
  • Responsible for the new component development during the trial and production run.
  • Must have knowledge of KAIZEN, Continual improvements and should be able to implements.
  • Responsible for cycle time reduction and monitoring of defined cycle time.
  • Must have knowledge of ISO, AS9100.

2. AUTHORITIES:

  • To report directly to Manager – Manufacturing.
  • Authorized to allot/change the work of team members as per business requirements.
  • Authorized to give permission/out-pass.
  • Authorized to inform the right persons in case of emergency.

3. COMPETENCY (Qualification, Knowledge & Skill etc.)

  1. Qualification        :  Diploma Mechanical / die making
  2. Experience       : 4-5 Years
  3. Knowledge & Critical Skills Reqd.: 
  • Expert ISO, AS9100 Certification.
  • Knowledge measuring instruments
    • Good communication and analytical skill are essential.
    • Knowledge on Jigs, Fixture, Tool and Die

EOHS Responsibility:

  1. Participate in Aspect Impact study, HIRA and significance determination,
  2. Nominate an EHS coordinator for the department.
  3. Implement corrective / preventive actions in respect of NCs or audit findings.
  4. Evolve and monitor progress of EHS programs.
  5. Maintain relevant records.
  6. Review the aspect / impact analysis whenever a new activity, production service is added.
  7. Initiate action as appropriate,
  8. Design of workplace in accordance with safety,

Ensure that relevant PPEs are issued and used by relevant personnel, reporting incidents and near miss cases to MR and legal compliance personnel.
